One of the highest paying professions is sales and one of the reasons is this: When you’re in sales, you’re going to have to deal with rejection. You have to present your ideas and persuade others and many people will say no. The fear of rejection is something, that’s genetically within us.
In the studies of social dynamics, relationships and the mating rituals, I can guarantee you, that rejection and the fear of it plays a very important part in our social system, from ages back. Seriously, just take a moment and ask yourself, what would you do tomorrow, what would you do right now, that you may be procrastinating on, if you had no fear of rejection. I’m sure you have discovered, that you’d be a lot more capable, wouldn’t you.?
